You can use a variety of creative supplies and paints. I am using the brand called Tulip and I have listed the supplies below that I use to paint on fabric.

I usually use recycled fabric, cottons etc where I need them for specific projects I will order them online.
By painting on fabric before stitching, you'll be able to create some really beautiful and unique pieces. You can see the other videos in the Material Monday's series.

They are all listed on the homepage.

If you decide to purchase the course bundle, I thought I would share some tips for getting the most out of it, with so many classes and resources, it can get overwhelming, and you want to make the most out of it.

7 TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE COURSE BUNDLE

If you like taking different art courses then you will love this bundle, there are so many great lessons by some of your favorite artists. One thing you do have to remember to do is pace yourself. And this goes for any course that you do. For all of the courses you will have access for about a year, so you could get through all of them if you do approximately 2 courses each week - or sign up and go at your own pace. I would go through as follows:

  1. Think about the skills that you want to learn first and foremost and do those sessions
  2. Identify which ones that jump out at you immediately - could be what you will be creating.
  3. Classes by teachers you have heard
  4. Classes that are then left
  5. Try to sign up at least so that you get your money's worth, then at least after that at least you can then do the class at your own pace after the year sign up access.
  6. If there are any classes that you think ‘no not interested’ at least check it out, you may find that there are techniques that you would be interested in learning.
  7. Make notes of what you learnt, what you liked about the class and transferable skills or techniques you can use again.

My Offering to the Art Bundle

Gardening Behind the Scenes and Planning

In today's video I share some plans in the garden.  I will be sharing the update as this video was taken

Welcome, you get a bit of the behind the scenes in the Garden today. This are of the garden was a space that I am working on creating a hedge. It is besides my recycled tires in the garden and want to create an area that I can possibly place a bench and relaxing area as well. It is a work in progress and all the projects take a while to come to fruition. I will be sharing an update to this area of the garden next week.

You can check out the video below

If you would like to check out some of the things I am working on in the garden that was seen or mentioned in the video: Yard and Garden Furniture - check out this book to create your own - https://amzn.to/3NksXUN DIY Garden projects - https://amzn.to/3SRKTqT Composting made easy - https://amzn.to/3UeBOcU Wheel Barrow - (on my ideas list) - https://amzn.to/3DqBQHz Lattice Fencing - https://amzn.to/3Ds6Nv2 https://amzn.to/3SOYSh3 https://amzn.to/3Fw5bmI The Secret Garden book - https://amzn.to/3DnfDKM

Because the garden has practically no budget, it is important to look at ways in which I can either use what is growing, found objects and swaps. I have found some of the trees that grow really fast, like the 'river tamarind' - can be cut and the branches used for projects, pallets are things that my local hardware store gives away, so I may be able to make use of the wood - it would need to be treated as we have an issue with termites in the garden.

Do let me know if you have any queries or comments about the garden and stay blessed. You can check out some of the other gardening videos - HERE

Sometimes I Write Poetry - I have Published a Poetry Book!!!

I am so excited to share that I have published my first book of poetry!!

I am thrilled as I have been writing on and off over the years and the poems were typed up, but I never did anything with them.  The papers even started to change color.

It is amazing the things that we say we want to do, but for one reason or another we talk ourselves out of seeing it come to pass.  After I made up my mind to do it once and for all I had to be disciplined and make sure I focused on getting some of the tasks done, a bit every day.

I did an interview talking about the book and the process and you can catch it below.  Let me know how you are getting on in the things that you are trying to get done, is there a particular dream that you are working on?

I hope you are encouraged as you listen to the interview.
The book is available on Amazon
Amazon US Book - https://amzn.to/3TWgWHz Kindle - https://amzn.to/3SZi9fM Amazon UK Book - https://amzn.to/3zBc1DP

One of the things that I want to continue is the joy of writing and the ability to use the resources available to us to share the work. I also want to encourage you to think carefully about the things that you are putting aside because you don't think you would be able to do it. Break it up into smaller chunks and get started, before you know it you will have got further than you thought you could. Time is going to pass anyway; you might as well do something that is going to make you proud.

So get ready to take action or continue to take action in your life 'story'!!  Let me know what your biggest challenges are, as sometimes it is just a change of perspective that will throw new light and opportunities on things.

Stay Blessed and be a blessing!
