Creating in Faith - Discernment - Podcast Episode
How do you see your creativity, do you have time to reflect and look at your direction and think about where you want to go, what tools you want to use and how you want to use them?
Very often we can find reasons for not moving in the direction we want, and one of the biggest reasons is that we just didn't think it was possible or had not given it much thought.
You can also join me for Arts and Wellness Café where we will look at the word even more and ways it can benefit our creative journey. Take a look at last weeks word which was about being mindful in your creative journey.

Creating in Faith - Word for the Week - Blissful Ambition
The latest episodes of the words for Today on Creating in Faith is available on the podcast where the words shared are Blissful and Ambition.
When you think about your creativity do you ever think about how it makes you feel or what you want to do with it. Many of us find that creativity has a therapeutic effect on our health and well being and it is an integral part of their day to day. There is also the need for many artists to look at ways in which they can earn from their creative project.
How do you see your growth and development progressing.

Inspirational Shorts - Gwendolyn Brooks - Sermon on the Warpland
Gwendolyn Brooks |
Welcome to the final week of poetry by Gwendolyn Brooks as part of Inspirational shorts Episode 223 on the podcast.
The word today is Helpful - Think of a time where you helped someone or was yourself helped and how did it make you feel

The Sermon on the Warpland
And several strengths from drowsiness campaigned
but spoke in Single Sermon on the warpland.
And went about the warpland saying No.
“My people, black and black, revile the River.
Say that the River turns, and turn the River.
Say that our Something in doublepod contains
seeds for the coming hell and health together.
Prepare to meet
(sisters, brothers) the brash and terrible weather;
the pains;
the bruising; the collapse of bestials, idols.
But then oh then!—the stuffing of the hulls!
the seasoning of the perilously sweet!
the health! The heralding of the clear obscure!
Build now your Church, my brothers, sisters. Build
never with brick or Corten nor with granite.
Build with lithe love. With love like lion-eyes.
with love like morningrise.
with love like black, our black—
luminously indiscreet;
complete; continuous.”
***********************************************
The Second Sermon on the Warpland
This is the urgency: Live! and have your blooming in the noise of the whirlwind.
Salve salvage in the spin.
Endorse the splendor splashes;
stylize the flawed utility;
prop a malign or failing light–
but know the whirlwind is our commonwealth.
Not the easy man, who rides above them all,
not the jumbo brigand, not the pet bird of poets, that sweetest sonnet, shall straddle the whirlwind.
Nevertheless, live.
All about are the cold places,
all about are the pushmen and jeopardy, theft–
all about are the stormers and scramblers, but
what must our Season be, which starts from Fear?
Live and go out.
Define and
medicate the whirlwind.
The time
cracks into furious flower. Lifts its face
all unashamed. And sways in wicked grace.
Whose half-black hands assemble oranges
is tom-tom hearted
(goes in bearing oranges and boom).
And there are bells for orphans–
and red and shriek and sheen.
A garbageman is dignified
as any diplomat.
Big Bessie’s feet hurt like nobody’s business,
but she stands–bigly–under the unruly scrutiny, stands in the wild weed. In the wild weed
she is a citizen, and is a moment of highest quality; admirable.
It is lonesome, yes. For we are the last of the loud.
Nevertheless, live.
Conduct your blooming in the noise and whip of the whirlwind.

Creating in Faith - Sentiments - Episode 177
Listen to the Recording
There are certain things that we can hold on to because it reminds us of another time, or brings back memories of when we used to, could do and that warm fuzzy feeling as you go down memory lane recalling the incident. There are those memories that you also maybe don't want to bring back into the present day.
How often do you think of something you have done and remembered some of the amazing things that you have done to get you to the exact point that you are now. You are amazing and It brings a smile to my face when I remember those times you used to do those amazing things all those years ago.
You remember, you could and did light up the room with your energy and laughter, your fantastic sense of humor and you would make everyone feel so special, though you didn't realise it.
It is easy to remember the times other people impacted on our lives, now think about the impact you have on other peoples lives, think about your gifts and talents, and how you have made use of them.
As you go about your day be reminded of how special you are and when people think about you they hold you in high regard! So from time to time, begin to think about yourself in the same way.
Have a blessed New Year - I hope that you have been working on your focus for 2020.

New Post Podcast - Creating in Faith - Space Episode - 156
Welcome to Episode 156 of the Creating in Faith Episode on Realityarts podcast. Today's word is Space.
When I look at the valley, mountain, and forests and sea I know there is a God - you can look at the vastness of the universe or your home surroundings. While I don't have the mountains, or valleys near my home we can find the joy in other things that those environments can bring to us. What does the idea of space mean to you both mentally and physically? Check out the Podcast HERE and let me know what you think.

Realityarts Podcast - Episode 89 - Celebration
Listen to the Episode below
What is it that you have done that you can celebrate, it doesn't have to be the usual things like birthdays, Christmas and such, but you can go right back to the simple things that often get over looked, like our lives, being able to take in the beauty around us.
As you are listening to the episode think of things that you are able to celebrate and see how it can keep your momentum up as you move from strength to strength and shine your light and be an encouragement in the world.
Let me know what you are celebrating in your life at the moment, share and see how your small actions can open the way for someone else who thought they were on their own.

100 Day Project - 100 Pastel Sketches 33 - 40
Here are the images 33 - 40 of the 100 Pastel Drawings that I have been doing on the #100dayproject2019
I had a couple of days where I didn't feel like creating which is weird, but kept going, you have to, and reminded myself that I am showing up for me. The project isn't about anyone else, but wanting to go on a journey with the pastels and use the supplies that I have.
If you would like to see the daily images you can come visit me on Instagram. Next week I will begin sharing some of the videos that I will be creating weekly for some of the images, it is always great to see how artist approach their work, and I hope that you find some inspiration while watchin.
You will be able to see the first of the weekly videos here when I share videos 41 - 48 or join me on YouTube, I am hoping that they will inspire you to get out your supplies and create. I will be sharing the full video on my Patreon Site, which you are welcome to join.
Stay blessed and be a blessing.
