Today I share the book Collage Unleashed - paint, bind, stitch, & play by Tracy Bautista. The thing that drew me first when I came across Tracy Bautista was her videos making paper and creating art journals.
There are six chapters and a variety of different tool techniques for you to do in each of the chapters. She talks about playing every day and the other thing I like about her books is that the amount of color that she uses and it does encourage you to play with your supplies. I found the different fonts used in the book a bit distracting, but it was great to have so many projects to choose from. Check out the video for more information.

Welcome to Material Mondays this week where we look at working with Fabric paints to create designs on our fabric pieces. You can check out the video above.
You can use them as a layer on your fabric or as a finishing touch. I like to add stitching as well as other elements.
Today I share how I use the fabric paint to lay down color and then add mark making and other designs using a range of different brands.

Archetype Art Journaling, is an in-depth, mixed media lesson that invites you to learn more about yourself as you delve into the magic and mystery of archetypes and oracle cards!
Join Rachel as she brings you on a journey of exploration and discovery, in her new course The Joy of M.O.T.I.F.
She has some amazing processes for creating abstract art and using colors, marks and symbols to bring them together a cohesive collection.
In this class, Rachel shares her M.O.T.I.F. framework that she uses to create a cohesive series of abstract art using gelli plates, a curated collection of supplies and inspired mark making.
One of the other things that I would like to get back to is working with fabric. I like creating different activities that enable you to play with your supplies. These spools have been wrapped in fabric and lace and I have added stitching and a variety of different fabrics together
What would you do if you could see how much better it was going to get, how different would you act now? and what would you do with the time you have?
I think it depends how we are looking after the bodies that we have been given. How do you look after yourself, nurture and take care of your body? What foods are you putting in, or rather what kind of foods are you putting into that which you want to take you all over the world, perform and interact or not if the last two years have been anything to go on - When was the last time you had a health check-up? Are you drinking enough water, getting enough rest, finding ways to destress in a stressful environment ? and the list goes on.
With all that and more that we are told by big business that won't harm us but have been found years later to be responsible for cancers and other illnesses you can understand why we might not be performing at 100%
We can have an impact on our brain and overall health by doing several things:
These are just a few things to get started of the ones currently on my list, let me know what you ones you do. Stay blessed and be a blessing
